  Horrible experience, was going to my aunt's funeral and the director gave us a difficult time with processing the body. He kept putting us off and took a week and a half to have the preparations done. I'm from Michigan and there when someone died a funeral was ready to go in a matter of days. At a time like this people don't want to prolong their grieving, people want to get closure and have peace that their loved one is put to rest. I know this is a business but I wish more empathy was expressed for the families who are going through loss.

  This past Thursday my grandmother passed away in her nursing home.
  Paperwork for processing her was mixed up and her body was mistakenly transported to this place for cremation. And man am I so grateful this is not the funeral home she will be put to rest in! When I called in to report the mistake and asked to see her body they not only refused but mocked the competing funeral home I was trying to get her transported to. During this hard time for my family the LAST thing anyone wanted to deal with was attitude and uncaring clipped answers. The people here don't care, go with someone else.
